Registering with a practice
Most practices only register patients who live inside their catchment area, and a few have closed their list to new patients for a while. Check the catchment area on the practice’s own website, or ask the practice, before you apply. You can also search the NHS service Find a GP.
Our guides explain how to change your GP practice and what to check when choosing one.
Care Quality Commission
We found no current CQC rating for this practice in the CQC’s published ratings.
The CQC inspects practices against its own standards. The CQC rating is a separate fact and is not part of our grade, which comes from the GP Patient Survey and NHS appointment and phone data.
Appointments, GPs and patient feedback
These figures come from NHS England. They are not part of our grade, and we do not compare them with other practices. Each one has its own source and month. The two access figures that are in the grade, appointments within two weeks and calls answered, are shown with the grade.
Appointments
NHS England’s figures for August 2026 have no appointments for this practice. They only cover practices whose appointment system sends data to NHS England.
NHS England publishes these figures as official statistics in development. Practices record appointments in different ways, and some activity, such as some appointments run by the primary care network, is not included, so NHS England says the figures do not give a complete view of a practice’s work.

Time from booking to appointment
NHS England’s figures for August 2026 have no general consultations with a recorded booking date for this practice.
NHS England publishes these figures as official statistics in development, and its own national figures use the same split: urgent appointments on the day of booking, and routine ones within 7 and 14 days. Practices record appointments in different ways, so we show no England figure beside these monthly figures. The grade uses a wider count, NHS England’s own measure of appointments within two weeks, shown with the grade above.

GPs
NHS England’s workforce figures for August 2026 have no valid GP records for this practice.

Friends and Family Test
NHS England’s figures for June 2026 have no results for this practice.
The test asks patients about their overall experience of the practice. NHS England says it is not meant for comparing practices: each practice chooses how to collect answers, anyone who uses the practice can answer (there is no random sample), and the results are not adjusted for differences between patients.

About these figures
The Practice score weighs two parts. 70% is patient experience: the share of patients who describe their practice as good, the answers “very good” and “fairly good” to the GP Patient Survey’s question on overall experience, exactly as Ipsos publishes it. 30% is access, the mean of two shares from NHS England’s monthly data for the practice’s latest month (August 2026): appointments that took place within two weeks of booking, and calls answered by the practice on weekdays from 8am to 6.30pm. Each part has its own 95% interval, and so does the grade. The label compares patients’ answers alone with England’s, so access moves the grade but never the label.
A practice is graded when at least 30 people answered the survey question. With only one of the two access figures, access is compared on that one; with neither, the grade is the survey part alone. The other survey questions are shown under “More answers from the survey”, each with its own interval and number of answers, and are not part of the grade. Appointment and phone data come from practices’ own systems, and practices record appointments in different ways. Time from booking is not the whole wait, and a call ended in the phone menu counts as not answered.
