For GP practices
What the site shows about your practice, the awards for the practices their patients rate highest, and the badge that shows them. Questions go to hej@vardbetyg.se.
What we show about your practice
Every GP practice in England has a page here, with how its patients answered the 2026 GP Patient Survey, run by Ipsos for NHS England. Each figure is shown with its margin of error and the number of patients who answered, and the method is public. No practice can pay to change what is shown, and we do not take money from practices for anything that affects a result, a label or a place on a list.
If your practice’s name, address or details look wrong, write to us. Names and addresses come from the NHS organisation data service, so a change there reaches this site with the next update.
The awards
The 2026 GP Patient Survey gives two awards.
- Top 10% in England 2026: a Practice score among the highest 10% in England, clearly above the England average. 581 practices hold it.
- Top-rated in your area 2026: the highest Practice score in your local authority area, or in London. 297 practices hold it.
The exact rules are the same for every practice.
- It is free. It cannot be bought or applied for, and it is not lost by not paying.
- It is on the practice’s page here for everyone to see, with the figures behind it.
- It lasts until the 2027 GP Patient Survey is published (expected July 2027), when the new results decide again.
- You can always say it in your own words, free, for example “Top 10% in England in the 2026 GP Patient Survey”, with a link to your page here.
The badge
The badge is a graphic of the award, for the practice’s website, newsletters and waiting room. Only the graphic is licensed; the award itself stays free.
- An image for the practice website, in plum or light, that links to a free check page for your practice. The check page shows the result behind the award and says that the graphic is licensed and the award is not for sale.
- The same badge as a picture file for print and newsletters, and a printable A4 award for the waiting room.
- The image is drawn from our data each time it is shown. If the licence ends, or the next survey changes the result, it changes by itself to “No active badge”.
What the badge never does
- It is only for practices that hold the award. There is no badge for taking part.
- It shows the year and the source. It never says top, first or best, and never compares you with a neighbour.
- It is not an NHS mark. It carries no NHS logo or NHS colours and does not suggest that the NHS, the Care Quality Commission or Ipsos stands behind it. Keep it apart from the NHS logo and your CQC rating.
- It never stands beside offers of private services.
Price
The price is not set yet. It will be published on this page before any licence is offered. Paying for the badge never changes a result, a label or a place on any list, and not paying never removes the award.
We do not claim that the badge brings more patients or registrations. It shows patients, on your own pages, a result that is already public.
