  • Ask any NHS practice. You do not register with a dentist the way you do with a GP: contact a practice and ask for an NHS appointment. Some keep a waiting list.
  • Need help urgently? Any NHS dentist can offer you urgent treatment, even if they are not taking new patients. Phone a practice, or call NHS 111.
  • Cannot find one? Contact your local integrated care board (ICB): it runs dental services in Buckinghamshire.
  • What it costs. Most adults pay one of three NHS charges; children and some adults pay nothing. See NHS dental charges.
