How to change, in three steps

- Register online, in the NHS App or on paper. The link on each card goes to the practice’s page on the NHS website. Most practices let you register online; you can also fill in a paper form at the practice.
- Wait to hear back. You should be told when you have been registered, usually within 5 days of the practice getting your details.

Good to know before you change
- You can register outside Walsall, for example near where you work, but not every practice accepts patients from outside its area, and it may affect home visits and community services. See all areas on GP practices by area.

- If you have problems registering, the NHS website suggests contacting your local integrated care board, Citizens Advice or your local Healthwatch.
