Shortest wait for a GP appointment in Bath and North East Somerset 2026

18 GP practices in Bath and North East Somerset ranked by how soon appointments take place: the share of appointments within two weeks of booking, from NHS England’s Appointments in General Practice (latest month: August 2026).

In August 2026, the 18 ranked practices in Bath and North East Somerset reported 68,765 appointments, 82.1% of them within two weeks of booking, the practices' shares running from 68.4% to 93.1%. 2 practices are listed without a place.

Shortest wait now: Hope House Surgery with 93.1% within two weeks.

Ranking: share within two weeks, highest first

The practices with the highest share of appointments within two weeks of booking come first. Only practices with at least 100 appointments in the month are ranked; a high share on a handful says nothing. On an equal share the larger number of appointments comes first, and when both are exactly equal the practices share a place. The number of appointments and the month are on every row.

Without enough data

These GP practices in Bath and North East Somerset have no appointment figures with enough appointments for the month (fewer than 100, or none reported), or serve one group of patients only. We list them openly rather than leave them out, but do not rank them: a share without enough behind it would mislead.

How we count, source and method

The figures are NHS England’s Appointments in General Practice: for each practice and month, the appointments that took place, and how long after booking, in the categories of NHS England’s measure ACC-08. Each practice is shown with its latest month.

  • The ranking needs enough appointments. Only practices with at least 100 appointments in the month are ranked, the same threshold as when appointments count towards the Practice Grade.
  • The data are official statistics in development. They come from practices’ booking systems, practices record differently, and the time from booking is not the whole wait.
